Chennai, Aug 8 : Public sector UCO Bank on Saturday said it closed the first quarter of the current fiscal with a net profit of Rs.256.70 crore as compared to Rs.521.40 crore for the same period last year.

In a regulatory filing in the BSE, the bank said its total income has decreased from Rs. 5,395.17 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2014 to Rs.5,169.09 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
