Chinese shares close higher
Beijing, Nov 9 : China's stocks closed higher on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.58 percent at 3,646.88 points.
The smaller Shenzhen index gained 1.47 percent to close at 12,453.24 points, Xinhua reported.
The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 2.37 percent to close at 2,724.62 points.
