US dollar rises on rate-hike expectation
New York, Nov 17 : The US dollar increased against other major currencies on Monday as market expectation for an interest rate-hike by year-end continued to support the greenback.
In late New York trading, the euro fell to 1.0678 dollars from 1.0738 dollars in the previous session, while the dollar bought 123.28 Japanese yen, higher than 122.72 yen of the previous session.
