'Chocolate boy' Girish Kumar open to all genres
Mumbai, Jan 20
Actor Girish Kumar, who started his career with romantic films, says he is keen to try other types of films as well.
"I'm open to anything. I feel that I can do all genres -- action, romance or other genres, so let's see what happens in the future," said Girish, when asked if he wanted to stick to his 'Chocolate Boy' tag.
Girish had played a loverboy in his debut film "Ramaiya Vastaviya" directed by Prabhudheva. In the film, he turns into a villager from an affluent person, in order to win the heart of his girlfriend's elder brother and eventually succeeds in doing so.
His second outing "Loveshhuda" sees him in a bolder avatar, the teaser of which received an adult certificate.
About the film, Girish said: "'Loveshhuda' is an extremely young and vibrant film, and it is for the young people, for the young at heart.
"I'm hoping that when the film comes out on February 5, people watch it and enjoy a lot. My character's name is Gaurav, he is a software engineer and how a one-night stand happens with him and how his life turns is the story of the film."
"Loveshhuda", directed by Vaibhav Mishra, also stars Navneet Kaur Dhillon.
