Chennai, March 14 : Independent film company Drishyam Films, popular for backing projects such as "Ankhon Dekhi" and "Umrika", will make their distribution debut with upcoming Kannada thriller "U-Turn".

"Drishyam Films will be distributing 'U-Turn' across India, except Karnataka region, this April. We have been planning to get into distribution over the last few months and we are glad it has finally happened with this project," Shiladitya Bora, CEO, Drishyam Films, told IANS.

Directed and produced by Pawan Kumar of the critically-acclaimed "Lucia" fame, "U-Turn" stars Shraddha Srinath, Radhika Chetan, Dilip Raj and Roger Narayanan.

Bora had previously associated with Pawan on "Lucia".

"The trailer of 'U-Turn' got me so excited that we decided to distribute it. It will release in the rest of the country on the same day the film will hit the screens in Karnataka. It will be played across screens with English subtitles," he said.
