Jet to have wide-body aircraft on domestic network
New Delhi, Oct 17: In a move to enhance connectivity, airline major Jet Airways on Monday said it will introduce wide-body aircraft on domestic routes.
The new planes will be introduced on the Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata-Delhi routes from October 30.
The airline said the introduction of the wide-body A330 aircraft will nearly double its current capacity on the fast growing Delhi-Kolkata-Delhi route.
"The new flights and additional frequencies in our winter schedule further strengthen our robust domestic network and offer our guests additional choice and flexibility to plan their travel," said J. Shanmugam, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways.
The airline will also start a new flight operations between Delhi and Kochi from October 30.
