Markets open on a negative note
Mumbai, Nov 2: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a negative note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 27,679.32 points which was also the high point and touched a low of 27,552.91 points.
On Tuesday, the Sensex closed at 27,876.61 points.
The Sensex is trading at 27,551.19 points down by 325.42 points or 1.17 per cent.
On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 8,542.90 points after closing at 8,626.25 points,
The Nifty is trading at 8,532.40 points in the morning.
