SHAREit to open its India HQ in Gurugram
Bengaluru, Nov 19: China-based content-sharing platform SHAREit on Saturday announced that it will set up its India headquarters in Gurugram.
People use SHAREit to transfer files including photos, videos, music, contacts, apps and any other files.
More than 150 million file transfers take place on SHAREit daily.
"With a vast majority of SHAREit users coming from this subcontinent, it has become imperative to include India in our global plans," said Xiaolei Du, Marketing Director of SHAREit, in a statement.
"We are actively preparing to open our first office in India in Gurugram," Du added. The announcement was made at the first "SHAREit Campus Meet-up" held in Bengaluru.
