Key Indian equity indices trade flat during early session
Mumbai, Dec 14: Key Indian equity market indices opened flat on Wednesday as investors await Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) was trading 7.36 points or 0.03 per cent higher during the early session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was, however, trading 7.65 points or 0.09 per cent lower at 8,214.15 points.
The BSE Sensex, which opened at 26,707.91 points, was trading at 26,705.18 points (at 9.16 a.m.) in the early session, higher 7.36 points or 0.03 per cent from the previous day's close at 26,697.82 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 26,736.34 points and a low of 26,688.36 points in the trade so far.
