Honda Cars to raise prices across models from January
New Delhi, Dec 16
Automobile manufacturer Honda Cars India (HCIL) on Friday proposed a price hike of up to three per cent across all its models.
The company said the revised prices will be effective from January next year.
"Due to the increasing pressure on input costs and fluctuating exchange rates, we are forced to consider increasing the car prices across our line-up," said Yoichiro Ueno, President and Chief Executive Officer of Honda Cars India.
"The increased price will be effective from first week of January 2017."
The company's product range includes Honda Brio, Honda Jazz, Honda Amaze, Honda Mobilio, Honda City, Honda BR-V, Honda CR-V and the recently launched Honda Accord Hybrid.
