Sao Paulo sign former Hertha Berlin midfielder Cicero
Rio de Janeiro, Dec 30: Former Hertha Berlin and Wolfsburg midfielder Cicero Santos has joined Sao Paulo on a two-year loan deal.
The 32-year-old joins the Brazil football club from city giants Fluminense and will meet up with his new teammates for the first time at the Florida Cup in January, reports Xinhua.
It will be Cicero's second spell at Sao Paulo, having also represented the club in 2011 and 2012.
He is the fifth new signing for Sao Paulo since Rogerio Ceni was appointed coach earlier this month.
Others to commit to the club next year have been forwards Wellington Nem and Neilton, goalkeeper Sidao and left back Junior Tavares.
